Itamar Hason

Itamar Hason serves as SVP Research at Pagaya, where leadership responsibilities encompass a team of over 100 professionals across various domains including research, data science, and software engineering, while reporting directly to the CTO and GM Israel. Previous positions include VP Credit Research and Head of Credit Research Department at The Israeli Ministry of Education, where Itamar coached the Israeli Physics Olympiad team. Prior experience also includes serving as a researcher at Final Israel LTD, focusing on algorithms and machine learning for high-frequency trading, and leading research teams in the Israel Defense Forces. Itamar's academic background includes a PhD and MS in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Tel Aviv University, and a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University.
