Illia Polosukhin

Illia Polosukhin co-founded NEAR in June 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Google Research from January 2014 to February 2017, where they managed a team of researchers and worked on TensorFlow. Before their time at Google, Illia was a Software Engineer at Salford Systems from February 2008 to January 2014.

Illia Polosukhin pursued their education at the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Math (and Computer Science). Before that, they attended AG #45 from 2000 to 2007, though there is no information available regarding any degree or field of study during that time. In September 2013, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Artificial Intelligence from Udacity.
