Willem Wyndham

Willem Wyndham's work experience includes various roles in different organizations. Willem started as a Lead Instructor at Girls Make Games in 2015, where they taught young women computer science concepts and game creation using Stencyl. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at IBM, focusing on building core models and expanding simulator loaders. Willem then served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland at College Park in 2016, providing assistance in teaching. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland College Park, conducting research in an academic setting. In 2018, they briefly worked as a Core Research Developer at Taraxa.io. Currently, they are employed at NEAR Protocol as a Contract Runtime Engineer and Head of the AssemblyScript Community Group.

Continuing their academic journey, Wyndham pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at the University of Maryland from 2016 to 2019.
