Tim Gale

Tim Gale has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience and product design. Tim most recently worked as a Product Designer at Paid since 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Product at Carbon from July 2020 to January 2021, where they also worked as Head of UX from May 2019 to July 2020. At Carbon, Tim was responsible for designing solutions for online Publishers and Advertisers, conducting client workshops, running usability studies, and collaborating with all functions of the company to deliver suitable product experiences.

Before joining Carbon, Tim worked at Clicksco as the Head of User Experience from February 2019 to March 2020, and as a User Experience Designer from October 2017 to February 2019. Tim'sresponsibilities included shaping the user experience and conducting user research.

Prior to Clicksco, Tim worked as a User Experience Designer at the Student Loans Company from March 2017 to October 2017. Here, they focused on product design and research for internal processing tools, conducting usability studies, leading workshops with users and delivery teams, and user journey mapping and interface design.

Tim's experience also includes working as a User Experience Designer at Sky from June 2015 to March 2017. Tim played a crucial role in designing digital solutions and optimizing user journeys within a lean product development process. Tim worked within cross-discipline agile delivery teams to continuously improve the user experience of account management for Sky's customer base.

Additionally, Tim has worked as a User Interface Designer at Thap Ltd from June 2012 to June 2015. Tim was responsible for interface and interaction design of web and mobile applications, and also contributed to the company-wide standards documentation for front-end architecture.

Tim's early work experience includes roles as a Web Developer at Better Brand Agency from May 2012 to June 2012, where they maintained and updated WordPress driven websites, and as a Web Developer at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from October 2010 to October 2011, where they were involved in re-designing and developing internal web applications.

Tim Gale attended Teesside University from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Web and Multimedia Design.
