Darryl Sim

Darryl Sim has a diverse work experience in the field of IT, risk management, and consulting. Darryl currently holds the position of Head of IT and Operation Risk at Paidy, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Regional Business and Information Security Officer at BNP Paribas Asset Management from July 2019 to November 2021. Darryl also gained valuable experience at KPMG China, where they served as a Management Consultant - Associate Director from April 2017 to July 2019. Earlier in their career, they had various roles at Citi, including Security Incident Management AVP, Software Developer, Management Associate, and Business Analyst. Darryl's work history also includes a role as an IT Security Advisor at F&N from March 2011 to August 2012.

Darryl Sim obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in the years 2012-2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Digital System Security from the University of Wollongong from 2008 to 2010. In addition, they hold certifications as a GIAC Certified Incident Handler from the Global Information Assurance Certification and a CISSP certification from ISC2.
