Merja Valkonen

Merja Valkonen is an accomplished ICT and data protection expert with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving in multiple roles at Päijät-Hämeen hyvinvointialue since January 2004, including ICT-asiantuntija, Tietosuoja-asiantuntija, Tietosuojavastaava, and Digimentori, alongside experience as an OR nurse. Merja contributed to the development of care recommendations at Hoitotyön tutkimussäätiö Hotus from April 2019 to September 2022 and served as a nursing instructor at Suomen Diakoniaopisto Oy in late 2020.
