Ma. Elizabeth Aguilar Machuca is a general practitioner with a family medicine care orientation, currently serving as an Auxiliar sanitario at Pain Care Physicians since September 2023. Previously, Ma. Elizabeth worked as a Medico Pasante del Servicio Social at Secretaria de Salud Jalisco from February 2018 to January 2019, focusing on the treatment and monitoring of patients with chronic degenerative diseases, pregnancies, family planning, infectious childhood diseases, and the diagnosis of depression and anxiety. Ma. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey (2011-2019), a Diplomatura in Genomic Medicine from the University of Valencia (2016), and completed a course on CRISPR gene editing at Centro de Investigación Biomédica de Occidente in November 2016.

Pain Care Physicians
Pain Care Physicians is a multi-disciplinary group practice composed of PM&R Physicians (Physiatrists) and Anesthesiologists who are focused on evaluating as well as treating acute/chronic pain. Our goal is to be as comprehensive as possible in our approach to pain management, approaching the treatment from many different perspectives. Through a multi-disciplinary approach both within our practice and also collaborating closely with orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, neurologists, rheumatologists, psychiatrists, and primary care doctors, our doctors will work closely with your other care-team members with the goal of achieving a comprehensive understanding the underlying conditions which affect your pain.
