Shanth Thiyagalingam has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting with Boehringer Ingelheim as a Medical Sales Representative in 2003, they then moved on to Bristol Myers Squibb as a Specialist Territory Manager in 2006. In 2009, they joined St. Jude Medical, where they held the positions of Product Manager for Australia & New Zealand, and later Global Product Marketing Manager. In 2012, Thiyagalingam transitioned to Stryker as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, before moving to Nevro as a Regional Director in 2016. Shanth then joined Abbott in 2018 as the General Manager for APAC Neuromodulation. In 2020, they became the Chief Commercial Officer at PainTEQ.

Shanth Thiyagalingam completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Medical Science from the University of Sydney from 1999 to 2002. Following this, from 2007 to 2011, they pursued a Masters in Management degree with a focus on Marketing and Business at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM). To further enhance their education, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing and Business from the same institution, MGSM, between 2013 and 2014.
