Godfrey Kamau has been working in the finance and accounting field since 2009. In 2009, they started as an Accounts Assistant at Timbertec Enterprises Limited, a manufacturing company supplying all timber and hardware goods in Kenya. After gaining experience, they were promoted to Accountant at Timbertec in 2015.

In 2015, they joined Mburu Kimani & Associates, an LLP that offers accounting, audit and advisory services. In 2018, they moved to Interworld Investments Limited, an FMCG company that supplies consumer goods to retailers all over Kenya including major supermarkets, as a Senior Accountant.

In 2020, Godfrey joined Lipa Later Group as a Senior Accountant, a BNPL company that offers financial services to consumers with the chance for them to repay in several installments. Godfrey also joined Fintegrity Advisory Services as a Senior Audit Associate, a company that offers accounting, audit, tax and advisory services.

Currently, Godfrey is a Co-Founder & Finance Lead | Logistics at Pakia, a transport and logistics company.

Godfrey Kamau has a varied education history. Godfrey obtained a CPA from KCA University in 2011-2012, followed by CPA Part II & III from Vision Institute of Professionals in 2012-2014. Godfrey then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Management - Finance from Moi University from 2016-2018. In 2019, they became a Member of ICPAK, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Development Finance from KCA University, which they began in 2022.
