Mazhar Hussain is currently a PhD student at Macquarie University, working under the supervision of Professor Shuping Shi on a project aimed at enhancing the understanding of financial market risks through intraday high-frequency financial data and advanced financial econometric tools. Concurrently, Mazhar has been a statistician at the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics since December 2010, specializing in data handling and national accounts. Mazhar holds a Master of Science in Statistics from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, completed between 2014 and 2017, and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Financial Econometrics at Macquarie University.
