Mubashar Maqbool

Mubashar Maqbool has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Mubashar is currently serving as the Managing Director at Pakistan Kuwait Investment Company (Private) Limited since March 2019. Prior to that, from September 2017 to March 2019, they worked as the Director/General Manager at Aequitas Consulting DWC-LLC.

Mubashar started their career as an Assistant Manager at National Development Leasing Corp from March 1989 to October 1989. Before that, they worked as a Sales Officer, General Chemicals at ICI (Pakistan) Ltd from October 1988 to March 1989, and as a Software Consultant at RNM (Pvt.) Ltd. from March 1988 to October 1988.

Mubashar Maqbool's education history starts in 1990 when they obtained a certification in Core Finance I from the Citicorp Asia Pacific Banking Institute in Singapore. In 1992, they received a certification in Account Management Strategy & Skills from the same institute, this time in Karachi. In 1996, they participated in a course on Advanced Problem Loan & Remedial Management at the Citicorp CEEMEA Training Center in Istanbul. In 2001, they attended a training program called Marketing Derivatives Ideas at the Citicorp CEEMEA Training Center in Warsaw. In 2002, they completed the Advanced Project Finance Modeling course at Euromoney Training in London. In 2003, they attended a training program titled Current Credit & Risk Issues at the Citicorp CEEMEA Training Center in Istanbul. In 2006, they completed the Basel II Senior Management Training Course at Price Waterhouse Coopers in Karachi. In 2008, they participated in the Developing Leadership Competencies program at IESE Business School, University of Navarra Spain, in Dubai. In 2010, they obtained a certification in the Leadership and Management Programme from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Finally, in 2014, they completed the Directors Certification Program (Module I&II) at the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG). In terms of traditional education, Mubashar Maqbool earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad in 1987 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Miami in 1991.
