Hamzah Rifaat is a Research Assistant Associate at Islamabad Policy Research Institute. Hamzah is also a Contributing Columnist at CGTN, a Lecturer at Air University, and a Broadcaster at Pakistan Television Corporation Limited. Additionally, Hamzah serves as a CYG Member at the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization and a Visiting Research Fellow at The Stimson Center. Furthermore, Hamzah is a Visiting Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories and a Graduate Research Assistant at The Women's International Perspective (The WIP). Hamzah Rifaat holds an MPhil in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from National Defense University and a Diploma in World Affairs and Professional Diplomacy from Bandaranaike Diplomatic Training Institute.

Pakistan Television Corporation is the biggest media organization of Pakistan. It is an autonomous public sector organization. The main responsibility of PTV is to provide public service broadcasting not only within Pakistan but also outside Pakistan. It makes programmes for all its viewers in drama, documentaries current affairs, entertainment and sport. Its programmes are produced in Urdu as well as in all regional languages i.e Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashto and Balochi.
