Mark Bastiaanssen

Mark Bastiaanssen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mark is the Co-Founder of Shiptimize, a position they have held since September 2017. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder & CEO of PakketMail since January 2013. Mark also has experience in entrepreneurship, having founded TextHamster, a technology start-up that provides an online marketing and communication platform. Mark has also worked as an Interim Specialist at Welten, a Hypotheek Acceptant at ELQ Hypotheken, a Settlement Subcustodian at ABN AMRO, and a Uitkeringdeskundige WAO at UWV. Additionally, they served as the Head of Sponsoring & Mentoring at 3 Day Startup Maastricht.

Mark Bastiaanssen completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics, majoring in Strategy, at Maastricht University, from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a program in MER. In 2009, Mark briefly joined RWTH Aachen University to study Economics but did not complete a degree. Mark later attended Maastricht University again in 2009-2010, obtaining a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship.
