Kay Hau has a diverse work experience spanning several years. In 2010, they worked as a Project Engineer at ECO Environmental Investment Limited. From 2011 to 2012, they served as an Assistant Engineer at Arup. In 2012, they joined CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd as a Project Manager, a position they held until 2018. During their time at CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd, they transitioned to Alfred24 Global in 2018, where they first worked as a Senior Project Manager and later became the Chief Operating Officer.
Kay Hau has a diverse education history. From 1997 to 2004, they attended Ying Wa College. In 2004, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Chemical Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, completing it in 2007. They then furthered their education at The University of Hong Kong, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Engineering from 2008 to 2011. In 2017 and 2018, they attended The MIT School of Architecture & Planning to study Big Data & Social Analytics. In 2022, they briefly enrolled in a course called "Decision Making using Data" at Cambridge Judge Business School.
