Mark van der Heijden

Mark van der Heijden is an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer currently working at PAL-V International BV since September 2020. Prior to this role, Mark served as an Embedded Engineer at Navmate from August 2011 to September 2020, where responsibilities included the design of both hardware and software for nautical equipment. Additionally, Mark has completed various internships and projects, including designing a Sailing Master System during a student internship at Navmate, and developing an RF gateway at Vitelec B.V. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Avans University of Applied Sciences and an MBO in Automation & Energy Technology from Radius College. Mark has also gained experience in graphic freelance work and led a department in a retail environment earlier in the career.
