David Barata

David Barata is an experienced audio professional with a diverse background in live sound and production management. Currently serving as the Audio Head at Palace Theater since August 2007 and A1 at Westville Music Bowl since April 2021, David also holds a position as Stagehand/Audio Tech with IATSE Local 74 since January 2006. Additional roles include Audio Tech at Firehouse Productions, Inc. since February 2015, Monitor Engineer/A2 at South Farms for a brief period in late 2020, and FOH/Tour Manager for Village People from July 2000 to October 2007. Previous experience also includes serving as Audio Head at Oakdale Theater from March 2006 to August 2007 and Production Manager/FOH at Toad's Place from March 1994 to June 2004.
