Alex Edlund

Alex Edlund has a strong background in engineering and technology. They worked at Paladin Technologies from 2017 to the present, starting as a Systems Engineer before progressing to Manager and eventually Director of Engineering. Prior to that, they worked at Contava from 2010 to 2017, primarily as a Systems Engineer but also briefly as the Lead Field Technician. Their career began at Orience Integration in 2009 as a Lead Technician.

Alex Edlund attended the University of Alberta from 2004 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Professional Engineer of Alberta (P. Eng.) in February 2016 through The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Alex also obtained the Professional Engineer of Manitoba (P. Eng.) designation in June 2017 through Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, and the Professional Engineer of British Columbia (P. Eng.) designation in September 2017 through Engineers and Geoscientists BC. Alex'smost recent certification is the Professional Engineer of Saskatchewan (P. Eng.), which they obtained in September 2020 from the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.
