Alison Obr, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various research roles. Currently, they serve as a Principal Scientist at Palatin Technologies since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School from October 2014 to April 2021. Alison'sresearch focused on progesterone and prolactin gene regulation and their impact on mammary gland development and breast cancer. Additionally, they conducted ChIP-seq experiments to determine the binding patterns of PR and Stat5 in mouse mammary epithelium.

Earlier in their career, Alison was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine, where they studied progesterone gene regulation and its role in mammary gland proliferation and breast cancer. Alison conducted research using a mouse mammary epithelial transplant system and 3D culture. Alison also worked as a Doctoral Candidate at Baylor College of Medicine, concentrating on progesterone and prolactin gene regulation and their impact on mammary gland development and breast cancer. Alison'sresearch focused on the transcriptional regulation of RANKL during adult mammary gland development.

Alison's research journey started as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where they gained valuable experience from August 2005 to May 2007. Alison also worked as a SURF student at Mayo Clinic in June 2005.

Alison Obr, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2007. Alison then pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Baylor College of Medicine, which they completed in 2014. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Oklahoma City University from 2002 to 2005, focusing on Biochemistry. In 2016, they obtained a certification in SciPhD from SciPhD.com.
