John Prendergast

John Prendergast has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. John co-founded Palatin Technologies in 2000 and served as the Chairman of the Board. John also played important roles in multiple companies, including Heat Biologics, AVAX Technologies, and MediciNova, where they served as the Lead Director. John Prendergast has held various positions, including Founder and President of Summercloud Bay, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of AVAX Technologies, and Co-Founder and Lead Director of Avigen. Additionally, they have served as an advisory board member at the Institute for the Biotechnology of Infectious Diseases. Prendergast has also been involved in the founding and directorial positions at Titan Pharmaceuticals and Xenometrix, Inc. John began their career as the Managing Director of The Castle Group.

John Prendergast has a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, General from UNSW. John also has a Master's Degree in Microbiology, General from the same university. John pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Pathology from UNSW as well. Additionally, they hold a C.S.S. degree in Business Administration and Management from Harvard University.
