Brooke C.

Brooke C. is an experienced library professional currently serving as an Early Literacy Librarian at Palatine Public Library District since March 2020, with prior roles including Children's Librarian at Eisenhower Public Library District and Youth Services Librarian at Rolling Meadows Library. Brooke has extensive programming experience, planning and conducting storytimes for various age groups, and has been involved in collection development and school outreach initiatives. Brooke's background also includes performing as a Streetcast Performer at the Bristol Renaissance Faire, where educational interactive performances were delivered. Prior to a library career, Brooke worked in the travel industry in roles with CWTSato Travel and Europe Express, focusing on training, customer service, and travel arrangements. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BA in English Teaching from the University of Northern Iowa.
