Benjamin Billet

Benjamin Billet has over 10 years of work experience in software engineering. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as an R&D Engineer for several organizations, including INRIA Paris-Rocquencourt, where they pursued a PhD in Networking, Systems and Software Engineering. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an R&D Engineer for two technology transfer projects at Ambientic and Setinnov/Ontech. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Fullstack Software Engineer and a Lead Software Engineer at Beepeers and Symphony, respectively. In their role at Symphony, they led engineering for Financial Solutions and also led backend engineering in a team specialized in federating communications between Symphony and other secure chat platforms. In 2018, Benjamin worked as a DevOps Engineer for Kafka at Amadeus. Currently, they are a Fullstack Software Engineer at Palettehq.com.

Benjamin Billet achieved a BTS Informatique et Réseau pour l'Industrie et les Services techniques from St Jean Baptise de Lasalle from 2004 to 2006. Benjamin then obtained a Cycle Supérieur d'Ingénierie Informatique in Informatique from EPSI Montpellier from 2008 to 2011. Finally, they earned a Doctorat en informatique, « Système de gestion de flux pour l'Internet des objets intelligents » in Informatique (systèmes distribués) at UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines from 2012 to 2015.
