Charlie Olson Csp

Charlie Olson, CSP, currently serves as President-Elect and Secretary of the San Francisco Bay Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and has held significant roles in environmental health and safety (EHS) across various companies. As Associate Director of EHS at ArsenalBio since April 2022, and with over two decades of experience including positions such as Senior Manager of Health and Safety at Plenty and Senior Manager of Global Safety Programs at Illumina, Charlie has developed and executed comprehensive EHS strategies and programs. Additionally, Charlie has worked as a Safety Specialist at Envirosafetech, Inc., and managed corporate security and safety at NEC Electronics America. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Safety Studies from Keene State College, Charlie is also a PSIA Certified Level 2 Ski Instructor, indicating diverse skills and expertise in both EHS and recreational safety instruction.
