Timo Kallio

Timo Kallio has a varied work experience spanning several industries and roles. Timo started their career as a Research Scientist at the University of Joensuu in 1994 and later became the CFO and Director of Finance and Planning at the same institution. In 1997, they worked as an Associate Coordinator at the European Forest Institute. From 2006 to 2009, they served as the CEO and Director at The Shared Services Centre for The Ministry of the Interior. In 2010, they joined Palkeet, Valtion talous- ja henkilöstöhallinnon palvelukeskus, where they held several positions including Director of Business Support and Director of Administration. Timo also briefly acted as the CEO of the company from 2019 to 2020. In addition, they served as a Board Member at Pohjois-Karjalan Osuuskauppa from 2015 to 2017.

Timo Kallio pursued their education in Forest Economics at Joensuun yliopisto. From 1991 to 1995, they obtained their M.Sc. degree in Forest Economics. Later, from 1996 to 1999, they furthered their studies and earned a Lic.Sc. degree in the same field from the same university.
