Lieutenant General (Ret.) Bob Ashley brings over 36 years of operational and military intelligence experience in the U.S. Army, with expertise in defense intelligence, global operations, and risk management. Bob was previously the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, and formerly served as the Army Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2 where he was the senior advisor to the Secretary of the Army and Army Chief of Staff for all aspects of intelligence, counterintelligence, and security. In addition, Bob has also done six combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he has commanded at the company, battalion, squadron and brigade levels. He holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Appalachian State University and master's degrees from the National Intelligence University and the United States Army War College.
