Kirk Whitson

Kirk Whitson is the current Principal at Pallas Advisors. Kirk has also served as Deputy Project Manager at Fluor Corporation and as Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command and U.S. Army Materiel Command.

Whitson began their career in the U.S. Army, serving as Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Army Materiel Command from 2012 to 2016. In this role, they were responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing project management execution and integration of existing, new and complex projects throughout the United States Army.

From 2016 to 2018, they served as Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. In this role, they were responsible for providing oversight of all aspects of the command's operations, including personnel, training, finance, logistics, and security assistance programs.

Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, they served as Deputy Project Manager at Fluor Corporation, responsible for the execution of sustainment operations to over 18,000 U.S. and Coalition Warfighters across 11 Forward Operating Bases located in Afghanistan. In this role, they oversaw a broad range of Sustainment and Logistical operations supporting USFOR-A, coalition forces and Department of the Army civilians operating at 11 geographically separated locations.

Kirk Whitson has a Master’s Degree in Military Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College and a Master's degree in National Security Policy Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. Kirk also has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Human Resources Management and Services from Missouri State University.
