With a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering and Hons BSc in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Marisa has held various roles in the nuclear industry, including Deputy Technical Director & Project Manager at PALLAS, Design Control Manager at Necsa, and Nuclear Engineer at Pebble Bed Modular Reactor. Marisa is known for their expertise in reactor engineering and safety, leading teams of engineers and scientists to support reactor operations and development. Currently pursuing a Senior Leadership Development Program at Nyenrode Business University, Marisa continues to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.

Foundation Preparation Pallas-reactor (PALLAS) is responsible for obtaining a licensable design, obtaining private investors, and constructing and operating the PALLAS-reactor. The new reactor will be one of the most leading reactors in the world: PALLAS will help tens of thousands patients every day by providing medical isotopes. These are the radioactive particles in nuclear medicine that are crucial elements in order to diagnose or treat illnesses such as heart and vascular disease and cancer. PALLAS will also be an important player in (medical) nuclear technological research.
