Mert Seme

Mert Seme is currently a Junior Cyber Security Specialist at PALLAS and a Young Professional in Cyber Security at Breinstein, where participation in a traineeship facilitates the development of knowledge and skills in information security and cyber security. Previously, Mert held the position of Senior Service Medewerker at Makro Nederland from September 2020 to August 2025, and completed an internship at Rootsec focusing on the application of AI in cybersecurity, particularly anomaly detection in network and logging data. Additional experience includes conducting Cloud Security Research at Technoberg IT Services BV, where a Proof of Concept was developed for secure migration of on-premise servers to the cloud, and roles at Uitblinqers and IKEA. Mert holds a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security and an Associate's degree in Cyber Security from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, alongside technical qualifications in leadership and interior design from Hout- en Meubileringscollege.
