David Bernstein

David Bernstein has a diverse background in software engineering, scientific consulting, and scientific research. David began their career in 2001 as a Scientist while preparing a book. In 2004, they held two positions concurrently as a Research Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and an Independent Research at Diffusion Systems. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Device Modeling Engineer at Silicon Clocks, and then as a Senior MEMS Designer at Silicon Laboratories. In 2012, they became a Senior Computational Scientist at Melior Technology. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Pronto.ai and a Staff Software Engineer at Symbio Robotics. Currently, they are the Director of Data Science at Pallidus, Inc.

David Bernstein completed their education history with a PhD in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1986 and 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Physics from Drexel University between 1984 and 1986. David also has a B.A in Physics from the University of Chicago, which they obtained between 1980 and 1984. David has also obtained a Functional Program Design in Scala certification from Coursera in July 2017. David is currently pursuing certifications in Algorithmic Toolbox, Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree, Data Structures, Functional Programming Principles in Scala, Robotics: Aerial Robotics, and Self-driving Car Engineer from Coursera and Udacity.
