Rob VanSpronsen has over 30 years of experience in the field of education. Rob began their career as a Teacher at Dufferin Christian School in 1987, where they worked until 2000. During this time, they also served as the Principal from 2000 to 2007. Rob then joined Immanuel Christian Secondary School as the Principal from 2007 to 2015. Following that, they worked as the Principal at Lethbridge School District 51 from 2015 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Principal at Palliser Regional Schools, starting in 2019. In addition to these roles, VanSpronsen has also worked as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Lethbridge from 1991 to 1995.
Rob VanSpronsen has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, which they obtained from the University of Manitoba from 2005 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in English Language and Literature, General from The University of Winnipeg between 1997 and 2000. In addition, they hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Social Anthropology from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1989 to 1990, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social Anthropology from The University of Lethbridge from 1983 to 1987.
