Richard Darlow

Richard Darlow has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Richard began their career as a Maintenance Charge Hand at ThyssenKrupp, where they managed a team responsible for maintaining a 24-hour production facility. Richard then progressed to become a Technician Team Manager, overseeing the efficiency and product quality of a production line.

Darlow then joined ABB as a Robotic Systems Engineer/Programmer, working on automation projects. Richard later joined Sarantel as an Equipment Engineering Manager, leading a team in maintaining hi-tech automated assembly plants for RF antennas and similar devices.

In 2013, Darlow returned to The Alternative Pallet Company Ltd as an Operations Director and later became an Operations Manager. During this time, they focused on producing Pallite's using laminated industrial card as a substitute for wood and plastic pallets, with a particular focus on reducing CO2 emissions in the air freight market.

Darlow briefly worked as the General Manager at Cedesa Ltd before returning to The Alternative Pallet Company Ltd as an Operations Manager. In this role, they oversaw fully automated, high-volume production using sustainable materials.

Richard'smost recent position is as the Operations Manager at The Alternative Pallet Company Ltd, where they continue to drive sustainability and efficiency in production processes.

Richard Darlow attended Mander College (Bedford) from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a HNC in Electrical Engineering with a field of study in Electromechanical Engineering. In 1990, they obtained an additional HNC in Electrical Engineering, although the institution where they obtained this certification is unknown. In 1997, they also earned a certification in N.E.B.S. Supervisory Management from NEBS.
