Michael Schmickle

Mr. Schmickle, a certified public accountant (currently inactive), is a Partner of Palm Beach Capital. Mike’s primary responsibilities include identifying prospective portfolio companies, structuring and negotiating transactions, performing financial and operational due diligence, reviewing the legal due diligence, arranging debt financing, managing the closing process of transactions, and working with portfolio companies on various strategic and financial matters including add-on acquisitions. He is on the board of several portfolio companies.

Previously, Mike has held various finance positions in the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries including Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer of a $600+ million revenue-based public company. As a senior executive, Mike participated in over 30 acquisitions/divestitures and structured/negotiated mergers and acquisitions ranging in value and sophistication from a simple $5 million transaction to complex privatization via a $260 million leveraged buyout.
