Major, Homeland Security Bureau at Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office

Major Sean Murray has been serving the citizens of Palm Beach County for over 23 years. He has commanded various assignments and task forces dealing with Patrol Operations, Field Training, Tactical Operations and Homeland Security.

Major Murray currently commands PBSO’s Homeland Security Bureau, which includes: Air Operations Division, Court Services Division, Crime Analysis Unit, Special Operations Division and the Tactical Intelligence Division.

Major Murray’s oversight duties include the Palm Beach Regional Fusion Center, as well as the local counterterrorism initiatives known as Business Partners Against Terrorism (B-PAT) and Community Partners Against Terrorism (C-PAT). B-PAT and C-PAT have been cited as models for best practices by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
