Rafael Elvira

Rafael Elvira has an extensive and diverse career in music spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Associate Concertmaster for Palm Beach Opera since September 1988, Rafael also teaches violin at Pine Crest School and has participated as a violinist in numerous Broadway shows, including prestigious productions like "Phantom of the Opera" and "The Lion King." As a founder and conductor of the Allegro Chamber Ensemble, Rafael focuses on providing elegant music for various occasions. Performance credits include collaborations with notable artists such as Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand and tenures with orchestras like the Atlantic Classical Orchestra and the Palm Beach Pops, where Rafael has held leadership positions. Rafael's educational background includes advanced degrees in Music Performance from prominent institutions, reflecting a solid foundation in the field.
