Ash Hoyle is a seasoned programmer with extensive experience in film festival and programming roles. Currently serving as a Programmer at Sundance Institute since April 2018, Ash has also held various positions including Associate Programmer and Associate Shorts Programmer. In addition, Ash is the Guest Festival Director for the Jewish Film Institute as of March 2024, and a Programmer for ShortFest at Palm Springs International Film Society since December 2021. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Programmer for Features at Outfest from May 2021 to March 2024, and Director of Programming at Utah Film Center, where Ash led a programming committee focused on LGBTQ+ representation. Ash was also a Project Involve Fellow with Film Independent in 2021 and completed production internships at ABC Studio and Mssng Peces in 2017. Ash holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and English from Vassar College.
