Charles Burt is a seasoned professional in the film and real estate industries, currently serving as Founder and CEO of Egerton Crescent Productions since 2015. With experience as a Feature Film Screener at Sundance Institute from August 2022 to February 2023, and as a Consulting Producer for Markey Producer Group in late 2020, Charles has collaborated with notable figures such as Patrick Markey. Previous roles include Executive Producer and former partner at Benshi Creative from June 2019 to June 2020, as well as experience in real estate as a Real Estate Agent at Re/Max Obsidian Real Estate and Jackson Hole Sotheby's International Realty. Charles holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film & Photography from Montana State University-Bozeman, where attendance spanned from 2015 to 2019, complemented by a foundational education at Jackson Hole High School.

The Palm Springs International Film Society is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate and promote the art and science of film through education and cross-cultural awareness. The Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films and the Palm Springs International Film Festival are presented under the auspices of the Film Society and are dedicated to nurturing and encouraging new filmmaking talent, honoring the great masters of world cinema and providing audiences with a unique opportunity to engage in an appreciation of and a conversation about the art of cinema as it is represented around the world.
