Greg Babush is a seasoned professional in the film and aviation industries. As the owner of Vision Aero Ltd since January 2012, Greg holds certifications as a CFI Certified Flight Instructor, AGI, IGI, LSRM, and is an Advanced Paragliding Instructor and Tandem Pilot. In addition, Greg serves as Technical Director for BendFilm, Inc., where responsibilities include supporting independent cinema and its vibrant festival experiences. Greg’s extensive film festival experience includes roles as Projectionist at the Sundance Film Festival, Lead Projectionist at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, and Technical Director for multiple festivals including the Ashland Independent Film Festival and the True/False Film Fest. Greg also owns Babush Productions Ltd, which specializes in film festival technical direction and projection management. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from The University of New Mexico, completed in 2002.

The Palm Springs International Film Society is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate and promote the art and science of film through education and cross-cultural awareness. The Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films and the Palm Springs International Film Festival are presented under the auspices of the Film Society and are dedicated to nurturing and encouraging new filmmaking talent, honoring the great masters of world cinema and providing audiences with a unique opportunity to engage in an appreciation of and a conversation about the art of cinema as it is represented around the world.
