Sean Cooley

Sean Cooley serves as the Chief Strategic Communications and Engagement Officer for The School District of Palm Beach County since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles at the South Florida Water Management District as Chief Communications & Public Policy Officer and Director of the Office of Communications and Public Engagement. Additionally, Sean held positions at Florida State University as an Adjunct Professor and served as Florida Communications Director for the National Audubon Society. Sean's early career involved communications roles in various organizations including the Florida Department of Financial Services and the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Academically, Sean holds a Master of Science in Media and Communication Studies, along with graduate certificates in Public Administration and Project Management from Florida State University.
