Abbey Hightower

Abbey Hightower has a diverse work experience in the human resources field. Abbey started their career as a Recreation Intern at Wild Dunes Resort in 2009 and later worked as a Mediator Assistant at Lenoir Board of Education Meetings. In 2010, they joined Charleston Place Hotel as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant and later became a Training Manager. Abbey then worked as a Talent Team Member at BoomTown - Real Estate Platform before moving on to Sonesta Hotels, where they served as a Human Resources Manager. Currently, Abbey is employed at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, initially as the Director of Human Resources and later as the Assistant Vice President/Director of Human Resources.

Abbey Hightower graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Hospitality and Tourism Management. Abbey attended the university from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their degree, Abbey has obtained several certifications. In March 2019, they became a TIPS Certified Trainer through Health Communications, Inc. Abbey also obtained a Predictive Index Analyst certification from PI Midlantic in February 2016, and a Training Certificate from ASTD Fort Worth/Mid-Cities Chapter in November 2012.
