Wally Popejoy has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Middle School Principal at Palmyra Area School District since August 2012, having previously held the position of Middle School Assistant Principal. Prior to this role, Wally served as Elementary/6th Grade Gateway Assistant Principal at Millmont Campus- Reading SD from August 2011 to June 2012 and as a 5th Grade Teacher/Adminstrative Assistant to the Principal at Lebanon School District from August 1997 to August 2011. Wally Popejoy holds a Principal's Certification from Alvernia University (2006-2009), a Master of Science in Education in Science Education from Lebanon Valley College (1999-2001), and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Lebanon Valley College (1992-1996).

The Palmyra Area School District is a K-12 public school system encompassing approximately 40 square miles in southwest Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. The District is comprised of six (6) schools serving the residents of Palmyra Borough, North Londonderry Township, South Londonderry Township, Campbelltown, Lawn, and Mount Gretna.
