Ann McMillan

Ann McMillan is currently a Master's student in Environmental Studies at San Jose State University, focusing on inland stewardship and restoration ecology while actively seeking internship opportunities in the field. With extensive experience as an art instructor at the Palo Alto Art Center Foundation since September 2016, Ann has developed and taught various art workshops. Previous roles include curriculum developer at Stevenson Elementary School, where Ann designed process-based art courses for young students, and arts administrator for the PACT Foundation, overseeing a parent participation arts program. Ann's background also includes work as a research assistant at Stanford University's Center for Conservation Biology and as a field technician for the Institute for Bird Populations in Yosemite National Park. Ann's academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and additional studies in Design Thinking at Stanford University.
