Doug Olenic

Doug Olenic is currently the Director of Systems Engineering at Palo Alto Networks since January 2023, where responsibilities include leading technical motions and sales initiatives for strategic security solutions while building relationships with reseller and distribution partners. Prior to this role, Doug served at Akamai Technologies from April 2011 to April 2022 in various leadership positions, including Global Senior Director of Solutions Engineering for Enterprise Security and Global Director of Technical Services for Cloud Networking, driving pre-sales support and building the Enterprise Security Technical Account Manager role. Earlier in Doug's career, experience includes serving as a Technical Account Manager and Professional Services Consultant at Empirix, where technical management for key accounts was a primary focus, and as a Product Service Engineer at Teradyne, providing support for new product introductions. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
