Gal Weizman

Gal Weizman is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in JavaScript security and innovation. Currently serving as a Sr Principal Security Researcher at Palo Alto Networks since September 2025, Weizman previously held the role of Staff Security Engineer at Consensys from May 2022 to July 2025, where contributions included the creation of the RIC proposal and significant advancements in JavaScript security technologies. Prior to Consensys, Weizman invented the Snow JS security library at SnowJS, which was acquired by MetaMask, and worked as a Software Engineer at Bionic. Additional roles include Browser JavaScript Security Engineer at PerimeterX, where a registered patent was achieved for CodeDefender, and contributions to client-side security libraries at Uponit. Weizman's early career included various roles at the Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200, focusing on cyber security.
