Marshall Kuypers

Marshall Kuypers, PhD, is a Director of Technical Product Engineering at Palo Alto Networks since January 2022, bringing extensive experience in cyber risk management and technical leadership. Previously, Marshall served as the Director of Cyber Risk at Expanse Inc. from June 2015 to September 2022, and held the position of Pre-doctoral Science Fellow at the Stanford Center for International Security and Cooperation from 2014 to 2016. Additional roles include Cyber Risk Analyst at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a member of the Complex Adaptive Systems of Systems Group at Sandia National Laboratories. Marshall Kuypers earned a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering with a focus on Quantitative Cyber Risk from Stanford University (2012-2017) and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2008-2011).
