Michiel Buurman

Michiel Buurman is an experienced executive in sales and business management, currently serving as Vice President for Northern Europe at Palo Alto Networks since June 2022. Previously, Michiel held the position of Vice President EMEA at Aviatrix from September 2021 to April 2022 and worked for Palo Alto Networks from June 2015 to August 2021, taking on roles such as Head of Commercial Business EMEA and Sales Director Benelux. Prior to that, Michiel spent over a decade at EMC, advancing through various sales leadership roles, including Sales Director for Corporate Accounts and Regional Sales Director for Corporate Accounts (A.I.), overseeing substantial teams and achieving significant sales targets. Academically, Michiel holds a degree in Marketing Management from HBO Nederland and completed secondary education at Ashram College.
