Shailesh Gokhale

Shailesh Gokhale is a seasoned professional in software engineering with extensive experience in mobility and web platform development. Currently serving as a Senior Distinguished Software Engineer at Palo Alto Networks since January 2023, Shailesh co-founded Cyberguard Pvt. Ltd. and GDB Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where focus areas include software consultancy and platforms leveraging Webit and Chromium open source projects. Previous roles include Architect at Motorola Mobility and Persistent Systems, where contributions involved Chrome-based web platforms and Webkit-based browser development, respectively. Earlier in the career, Shailesh held the position of Tech Lead at Ruksun Software Technologies, leading the development of instant messaging and multimedia messaging frameworks across various mobile platforms. Shailesh holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Modern School, completed between 1995 and 1997.
