Yunchuan Zhang

Yunchuan Zhang is a Principal Engineer at Palo Alto Networks since January 2022, focusing on enhancing on-premise CI/CD infrastructure for the Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) engineering team through KVM, Docker, and Jenkins, while significantly reducing build times by 50% via the integration of Distcc and CCACHE with the PanOS build process. Previously, Yunchuan served as Sr Infrastructure/DevOps Lead at Mitel, overseeing a vast number of virtual machines while developing a fully automated CI/CD pipeline for Connect PBX. Earlier roles include Sr Software Engineer at Cisco, where Yunchuan automated testing processes, and IT Manager at YY Finance, managing IT operations across the US and China. Yunchuan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
