Haley Whitman has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Haley began their career in 2015 as an Undergraduate Researcher at the CAES Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems Lab, where they focused on Cyber-Physical Systems, Hardware Security, and Hardware optimizations. During this time, they completed a project involving the implementation of a MIPS Processor using Verilog on an Altera Cyclone V FPGA.
In 2016, Haley joined the CMET Cognitive Modeling and Eye Tracking Lab as an Undergraduate Researcher. Their work in this role involved designing and creating assistive technology for girls and women with Rett Syndrome. Haley received REU funding for this research.
From 2017 to 2020, Haley worked at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Haley started as an Intern and then transitioned to the role of Assistant Technical Staff. During this time, their responsibilities included contributing to various technical projects.
Currently, Haley is employed as a Software Engineer at Palo Alto Software, a position they started in 2022.
Haley Whitman attended the University of Oregon from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on System Design and Assistive Technology.
