Jeong Choe

Jeong Choe, Ph.D., currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent-Innovation & Agile Teams at the Palo Alto Unified School District since July 2023, following a tenure as Director of Innovation & Agility and Advanced Authentic Research Coordinator within the same district from 2015 to 2023. Previous experience includes consulting on online science education outreach for AbbVie, serving as Chemistry Faculty and Strategy Leader at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, and contributing as a STEM High School Global Initiative Consultant for USAID. Additionally, Jeong Choe has more than a decade of academic experience at institutions such as Loyola University Chicago and the University of Illinois at Chicago, focusing on science education research and undergraduate chemistry teaching. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, a Master's degree in Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with Distinction, all obtained from the University of Illinois Chicago.
