Marcela Simões De Carvalho

Marcela Simoes de Carvalho is currently working as a Principal on Special Assignment at Palo Alto Unified School District, leading a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) project. Prior to this role, Marcela served as Principal at Escondido Elementary School, Gabriela Mistral Elementary School, and Assistant Principal at Mariano Castro Elementary. Marcela has a background as a Dual Immersion Spanish Teacher and has also worked as a Director of Categorical and English Learner Programs. With a Ph.D. in Organization & Leadership from the University of San Francisco, Marcela has extensive experience in education and teacher training.
