Carol Bobby

Carol Bobby is a Trustee at Palo Alto University. Carol was previously an Adjunct Instructor at New England College from September 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, they were a Doctoral Graduate Assistant at The University of Toledo from July 2017 to May 2020, where they taught COUN 6470 - Drugs and Mental Health in Spring 2019, COUN 4080 - Essentials in Helping Relationships in Fall 2018, and served as a Research Assistant to Dr. Christopher Roseman in Fall 2018. Carol also taught COUN 4080- Essentials in Helping Relationships and COUN 3110- Case Management in Spring 2018, and COUN 4080- Essentials in Helping Relationships and was a Research GA in Fall 2017. Carol Bobby was also a CACREP Graduate Internal Reader/Consultant at the Council for Accrediation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs from July 2018 to September 2019. Carol is currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor at Julia Burrow, MD & Associates, and was previously a Recreational Partner for FAST at Family Counseling Services of Northwest Ohio from October 2013 to June 2014. Carol was also a Youth Office Based Therapist at The Zepf Center from October 2013 to January 2017, and is currently an Adjunct Instructor at Bowling Green State University, a position they have held since August 2018.

Carol Bobby holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education and Supervision from The University of Toledo, a Master of Arts (MA) in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Bowling Green State University, and a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, General from Bowling Green State University. Carol also has certification from Autplay Therapy in Autplay Therapy, from The National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children (TLC) in Level 1-Trauma and Loss Specialist (CTP), from the National Council of Family Relations in Certified Family Life Educator, from the NBCC Foundation in National Certified Counselor, from the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board of Ohio in Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor, and from The Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board in Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
